Of dust and water
This creation is
Who we are
Nothing but dust
Wet with water
It takes shape..
In a fire of love
It is baked
Some become glorious
Pellucid a few may look
And some
Turn to ash
Scattered in the air
Aimlessly
Who we are
The glorious
Or the pellucid one
Or just ash in the air
Who we are!!
The conundrum of
Beginning and end
Is creating chaos within the soul
One step can lead
Towards utmost decimation
And another move
Can bring ultimate
Manifestation closer
When the whims
Coalesce into thoughts
And desires into objectives
We get closer to the destination
Which left us
Into the trance of
Nothingness
Who we are..
The creation of dust and water
In a quest of
Coalesces into nothingness
Just nothingness!
What a philosophical musing, Saba! That’s the stark reality of life. A beautifully crafted poem!
Dear Saba,
Well done! I concur with Kaushal Kishore (KK) about your poem entitled “Who We Are”, and I particularly like the following lines:

Just Amazing ❣️
Thank you dear Aarzu💕
“Nothing but dust
Wet with water” – really humbles the reader.
Thank you dear Alina💖🤗
Very philosophical!
We are created from dirt and fluid. Alhamdulilah. Great piece!
Thank you for being here 😊
Stay blessed.
Jazakallah!
That’s so very true, Saba. Wonderfully expressed. 💖
Thank you Flesch.
Stay blessed 😊💕
Nicely said in poetry. In reality the human race can be the worst of all creations – this animal (man) kills for power, greed, rage, personal glory . . . while most of the animals (non-human) kill for survival.
That’s very true. Devolution in human race is quicker than evolution.
What a beautiful piece, dear Saba! I missed reading your wonderful work!! I love the authenticity here and the rhythm which you created, truly a gift to read 🤍🤗
Thank you so much dear Grace for honouring me with your presence.
Stay blessed and happy 💖
