We forgot the way You have shown us
We became devils, while You have created us with love
We became deaf and dumb, while You have blessed us with the power of hearing and speaking
We became blind, while You have filled our eyes with Your Noor* divine
You have given us the soft heart and told us that You live there, but we changed our hearts into stones
You have told us that this world is ephemeral, but we kept on running after it
You have told us to speak up for the oppressed, but we kept shunning Your command
We committed criminal negligence when Your dear slaves were facing atrocities
We closed our eyes when little kids were afraid of bombshells
We didn’t do anything when Your servants were dying of hunger
We didn’t soften our hearts when the right of freedom was snatched from Your dear slaves
Remorseless we became when kids were bathed in blood
We forgot that You are OMNIPRESENT and looking our every move
You know the whispers of heart, we forgot that
We closed our eyes from the vivid sufferings of Your servants
Now,
We are afraid of our own breath
We can’t meet our loved ones
We are caged in our homes
The tiniest virus is cutting the thread of our lives
The tiniest virus is eating the mammoth economies
The world has stopped by an invisible virus
We are ashamed of what we have done
Before us was our worldly wealth
But it can’t save us
Only your mercy can protect us
There is no refuge except you
This virus is nothing but what we have earned
Pardon us our Lord!

You are the Most Merciful and the Most Beneficent

Only You can remove this curse from us

We not only destroy the nature but also the humans who live here.
For the insatiable greed of wealth and power strong countries have played and are still playing with the lives of poor people, their only sin that is stifling their right to live is to be born in countries that are rich with natural resources and their incompetent rulers are not able to use them. How long these people keep paying for the mistakes of their rulers???
I don’t know my words are strong enough or not but this reminds me of the little Syrian girl aged 5 or six, she was bathed in blood, crying and saying that she would tell everything to Allah, she died then(as many others). Am sure God has listened to her…
These developed countries don’t speak up because they have their business interests.
Whether it is war torn country or inhumanely lockdown valley of Kashmir, world plays the role of deaf and dumb only..

Allah indeed has listened to His child, you’re absolutely right. It’s so heart-wrenching!
I wonder how their hearts never bleed in pain after killing their own people, after bombing schools and sacred places and, the brutal list is countless!
These developed countries are bullies, period. They bully even their own people. The people there are against their own leaders and, these very “smart, intelligent” group of world leaders are against our nature and humanity. Goddammit! This one’s on them as they run the world! They need to correct their ways before it’s too late.
This is Mother Nature’s wrath! See, how we all are living in “lockdown”, that too all over the world. I hope Her lesson makes us more empathetic and tolerant towards each other.

Running after the insatiable greed these developed countries have caused havoc to humanity and what a pity is that couldn’t able to stop the silent strikes of the tiniest virus.
We need to open our eyes and learn to speak up because nature won’t forgive us for the criminal negligence.
May God give us wisdom and strength to fight against not only the covid19 but also the injustice that is spreading faster than Corona.
