فلک پر دور تلک
پھیلی تھی ردائے سحاب
شوخیاں تھیں بادِ صبا کی
عروج پر
کرتی تھی سرگوشیاں کبھی طیور سے
لہلہاتے کبھی برگ و گل
ہمراہ اس کے
چند لمحے بعد۔۔۔
آیا ہلال بامِ فلک پر
تھکا تھکا سا
نیند سے بوجھل
لگا تھا سونے اوڑھ کر نور کی چادر
یک دم جو اٹھی بادِ صبا
پھسل کر شجر کی ڈال سے
گھبرا سے گئے طیور
چھوڑ کر آشیاں اپنے
اڑنے لگے فلک پر
منظر یہ دیکھا ہلال نے
آنے لگی اس کو ہنسی
پر تھا نیند سے بوجھل بہت
مگر۔۔۔
بامِ فلک پر ابھرا
ایک خفیف سا تبسُم
دیر تلک!
ایک ادنیٰ سی کاوش آزاد نظم لکھنے کی
Every corner of the sky
Was donned in clouds
Soft breeze was cherishing loud
She was whispering to chirpy birds
The next moment
Flowers were dancing with her
A while later…
Crescent appeared on the sky
Tired!
Dreamy!
Covered in a sheet of light
Was about to sleep
Suddenly! soft breeze soar high
When slipped from the twig.
Chirpy birds got scared
Left their abode they flew up in the sky
Laughter came to crescent
When saw this scene
But sleepy and knackered it was
But!……
A hint of smile did appear
At the parapet of the sky
A rather longer!
